Window Cleaning and Van Detailing

ACDP's window cleaning activities is executed in coordination with local businesses and other public institutions like San Jose’s various libraries. The Day Program has partnered with various groups and local employers to in the area. This activity allows groups to practice teamwork and enables them to be an active member of the community. Consumers in the process will be able to feel integrated into the community and feel a sense of responsibility and are offered an opportunity in the community simultaneously.

ACDP’s Van Detailing activity allows the consumers to take care of their own vans as a way of promoting good hygiene. Through this activity, consumers are able to learn how to maintain their workspace and clean up after themselves and their peers in order to encourage them to maintain their own living spaces outside the day program.
